ワークは効果がないのかも？と思うのはなぜ？　その4 さて、バイロン・ケイティのワークの効果をまざまざと感じているのに どこかで「ワークって効果なくない？」と思っていた私の謎が解明された その話をするこのシリーズ。 ワークをして、自分の弱さの上につけていた傲慢だったり、怒りっぽかったり、愚痴っぽかったり 犠牲者っぽい私は消え始めて生きるのが楽になり始めたのに 「ワークって効果ないのかも」という思いが出始めたのは なぜだったのでしょう？ それは私にとっても長年の謎でした。 でも、ようやくその謎が解けました！ そのからくりはこうでした。 最初のうちはワークをすればするほど、楽になっていきました。 しかし、あるときから私の中にどんどんと不安と恐怖が現れ始めたのです。 おかしいですよね？ 私たちを限定する思い込みから解放されていけばいくほど 私たちは自由になるべきではありませんか？ 私は当時そう信じていたので、恐怖が強くなり どんどん自信がなくなってきた自分をみてがっかりしました。 「もしかして、ワークって私には効果ないのかな。」 そう思ったのです。 ですが、これ、起こるべくして起きた流れだったのです。 図にしてみましょう まず、赤ちゃんから5歳くらいまでの私にはアイデンティティはありませんでした。 弱くもなければ強くもない、バランスのとれた状態でした。 自然な状態、むしろ真実の意味で最も強い状態でした。 図１参照 しかし、段々と生きていくうちに 私は元々私のものでない「自信のない自分」というアイデンティティを 信じるようになりました。 「私はだめだ。」「私だけ間違ってる」というように。 （図２参照） でもこのように自信がないままだと生きづらいですよね。 図を見てもらっても分かるようにはかりが片方に振り切れているのですから。 ちょっとしたことで傷つきますし、不安になります。 そこで、ちびっこな私は、私なりに考えたのでしょうね。 「強さ」をどこかから借りてきて強いふりをし始めました。 姉や大人の口調を真似て偉そうなことを言ったり、 他の子より自分が優秀なことを先生にアピールしたりして。 するとこの図のようにやっとバランスがとれました。 （図３参照） これでようやくバランスは取れたのですが、 二つの相反するアイデンティティを持っていることは生きづらいものでした。 自信のなさと強気さとを両方一緒に持っていて 自分でも強気になったらいいのか弱気になったらいいのかよくわからない状態でした。 こういう子どもいますよね。 ある場所では自信満々なのに、ある場所に行くと急に無口になるみたいな。 この状態の私がワークを始めたことによって 強がって自信たっぷりなふりをしていた仮面が取れていきました。 そして弱さだけが残りました。 これがワークをすることによって ものすごく不安で自信がなくてこわくなった原因でした。 本物ではないにしても「自分を守ってくれている」と信じていた強さがなくなったので、 私は不安と恐怖の渦に再び戻ったような気がしたのです。 （図４参照） でもこれは、ワークに効果がないから起きたのではありません。 むしろ、ワークに効果があったから、強さの仮面が剥がれて 最初の問題に戻ったのです。 つまり、問題はシンプルになったのです。 （ごめんなさい。図が載せられなかったのでウェブサイトで見てください。） プロフィールにURL載ってます。 つづきます。 #図が載せられなかった　#バイロン・ケイティのワーク　＃自分をとりもどす道は長い　　＃でも大丈夫 ＃ちゃんとつながっているよ
